This poem of Goethe turned up in relation with Anda Kerkhoven, who lived with Marian's parents during World War 2, and was murdered by nazi-related cowards because of her good deeds.
It does not intend to encourage Palestine suicide murderers and the like. They stay in the darkness with their bad deeds.

Heavenly longing Tell it only to the wise men, what I tell about the strong, for the masses would despise them: o, to die in flames they long. From the cold nights of the loving you are born to see the light, and angelic souls are roving, to bring tokens from the night. And you are not bound in shadows like the sun from fall to rise, but you long for grassy meadows in the shining paradise.
